Height Adjustment PlatformHEIGHT ADJUSTMENT PLATFORM

The Height Adjustment Platform (HAP) is an optional accessory that attaches to any model of the Premier Stretcher Carrier (PSC) for placing the patient at a height:

  • That is ergonomic for the first responder to provide initial emergency medical treatment.
  • That can adjust to be level with a variety of decontamination units for ease of transfer of patients needing decontamination processing.
  • With the patient's head lower than their feet—shock or Trendelenburg position—or the patient's feet lower than head in the event of severe hypertension.

The HAP frame is constructed of powder coated, welded aluminum. Each half of the HAP unit is independently secured to the PSC frame. The HAP is easily adjustable in one-inch increments to a maximum height of seven inches. The HAP platform may be tilted laterally for off loading the patient from the stretcher onto a hospital bed or a platform.
