IV ROD
The IV Rod is an optional accessory that can be attached to stretcher so IVs can be administered while a patient is in transportation. The IV rod is an essential accessory so treatment can be started at the pick-up site and is able to be transferred to the next platform the stretcher is placed on.
The strong stainless steel IV Rod attaches to the stretcher so that when the patient is taken off the PSC there will be no interruption of IV fluids. Double IV bags may be attached to the IV Rod.
