VERSATILE RESCUE CART
The Versatile Rescue Cart is a strong but lightweight litter carrier that is ideal for either urban or rural terrain. At 20 lbs. (9 kg), the VRC is extremely light and can be carried or backpacked with ease to any emergency. Despite being lightweight, the VRC can carry 300 lbs.
The VRC is constructed from aluminum tubing using stainless steel hardware. The lightweight design of the VRC decreases the pulling weight for the rescue personnel.
The VRC assembles easily in less than one minute without tools. The frame unfolds and locks upright into place using two quick release pins. Engage the kickstand and the unit is ready for a litter.
The VRC can go anywhere you may need it. For urban, indoor and hardpacked terrain, Rapid Rescue Products recommends the standard non-puncture 11" (28cm) wheels for most routine use unless the terrain is very uneven or soft. When rescue is required from beaches, woods, or desert terrain, it is best to use the Roleez® wheels. The Roleez wheels are designed specifically to carry heavy weights over soft and uneven surfaces. For higher clearance, choose the larger non-puncture wheels. The frame is drilled for all model wheels and they can be easily interchanged without tools. If transporting a patient through a particularly narrow passage or trail, the Roleez wheels may be placed inside the frame.
